The most evident example of the change was the passing of paperwork and supplies from OWA 2009 Vice President Marino Regalado (Ninja Entertainment) to Vice President-elect Joshua Fair (Fisheye Studio). OWA President Dave Miyamoto deferred decisions for new business to his successor Eugene Kam.
After the meeting and behind the scenes, the process continued, as the official email addresses of 2009 board members were handed over to incoming board members. "Compared to last year, it has been relatively smooth," said Marino. "Our goal was to make this transition as painless for the incoming board members as possible, making their jobs and lives much easier."
For new board members, it will be a new chapter in their lives, and for the association as a whole, it is an exciting time.
